Summer Reading 2023
From storytimes for our littlest ones to programs for Seniors to our annual reading program, this summer will be full of fun and exploration.

Visit us at the Farmer’s Market. We’ll have a Book Farm full of stories to share together, fun activities, and, of course, our weekly Vegetable Hunt.

Stop by Children & Youth Services with family or friends to play board games, hunt for Popcorn (our desk dog), or play at our building table.

Take a minute and work at our adult puzzle table.

Check out books and you may win a prize.

And, last but not least, sign up for our summer reading program, Summer at the Library!

Summer at the Library is for all ages, from pre–readers through adults!
Find your perfect program below for links to register/check-in and to print your logs.
Birth through Middle School
Complete your log by reading and doing activities. Along the way there will be opportunities to check in and receive prizes. Finishers will have a chance to win one of our big grand prizes!

Print a Log for tracking at home
High School through Adult
Commit to reading throughout the summer! Print and complete a log or just track your reading online. As you progress, come check in and get a prize from our prize chest. Finishers will have a chance to win one of three $50 grand prizes gift cards.

Family
Participate as a family to win a one year Family Membership to the Field Museum. Any child Finisher with an adult caregiver Finisher will be automatically entered into this drawing.
