No appointments necessary!

You don't need an appointment, but capacity is limited. Computer use is limited to one 60 minute session per day; reservations aren't required but are recommended to ensure availability. Study areas have been removed. If needed, our WiFi signal extends to the benches, stone circle, and parking lot (parking available on weekends only). Masks and social distancing are required at all times.

How Does Curbside Service Work?

 

Curbside Hours

Mon - Thu: 3 - 7 pm

Fri: 11 am - 5 pm

Sat: 11 am - 3 pm

Step 1: Placing A Hold

Step 2: Notification

 

Wait for notification that your material ready for pick up. Notice will arrive based on your account preferences (phone, email, or text).

 

​Step 3: Picking Up material

 

Picking up by car: Use designated parking spaces located along Burling Rd.
Walk-up Service: Use designated spaces located by the bench in front of the Library.


Curbside FAQs

 

How long can I keep items?

Standard checkout rules are in force. Items will auto-renew up to 2 times unless there is a hold on that item.
 

 

How do I return items?

Standard, non-fragile items must be placed in our curbside book drop. Oversized items and electronics should be returned in metal cart located by the side door in the parking lot. Staff will not be able to take returns when you come to pick up items.

Please note: Once returned, all items enter a 3-day quarantine. They will remain on your card during this time. We will not be accruing fines during quarantine.

 


Are you accepting book donations?

We are not accepting general book donations. If you have items that have been released within the last year that you are interested in donating, please call the Library at 708.442.6366 to see if we need extra copies of popular titles.
