Interlibrary Loan and Reserves

The Riverside Public Library provides Interlibrary Loan and Reserve Services for their cardholders to obtain items not owned by the library or items currently checked out. Riverside residents may request or reserve up to 15 items at one time. New materials are occasionally not available through interlibrary loan.

The Riverside Public Library will place 1 hold for non-residents.

All interlibrary loan borrowing arrangements are made between libraries; individuals cannot borrow via interlibrary loan directly. Loan periods and costs vary, and they are determined by the lending libraries. Riverside charges only the fee, if any, charged by the lending library. Generally, lending libraries do not permit renewals.

If an interlibrary loan item is not returned by its due date, it will be considered overdue. All fees/fines must be paid before additional interlibrary loan requests will be processed and are based on the owning libraries loan rules.

Patrons can request material themselves online by going to the Online Catalog.
