Public Computers
Adult Internet Access
Internet access is available through four terminals in the Atrium. PC
Cop, an electronic registration system coordinates the use of the
computers Patrons must abide by Library Rules and Regulations
concerning the Internet (Please see the Policies and Procedures at the
bottom of this page). Please sign in at the Circulation Desk before
using the terminals for the first time. Ask at the Circulation Desk
for rules concerning these computers for non-residents.
Youth Services Internet
Access
Five computers are available in the Youth Services Department, two
for children and three for young adults (ages 12-17). There are also
two Family computers for parents and caregivers. All computers allow
access to the Internet. Sign-up for all computers is done through PC
Cop software. Please check the rules governing the use of the
computers if you are interested in using them.
Online Catalogs
The holding of the library can be accessed through
all of our Internet computers and through our OPAC's. We have two
OPAC's located on our lower level and one located on our main level.
In addition, two computers that support our online databases and two
that are used for word processing are also for OPAC use.
Online Databases
The library subscribes to the following online
databases. They can be accessed through the library or through this
web site at our Online Database page. A
few of our titles include World Book Online, Infotrac General
Reference Center Select, America's Metro Newspapers, and NoveList.

complete description of all of our online resources.
Word Processing Computers
The library also has two computers dedicated to word processing. Both
of the computers have Office 2003 software which includes, Microsoft
Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and FrontPage.
