BookLetters - Riverside Public Library
Connects Book Lovers with Book They'll Love!
Librarians know it is hard for book lovers
to keep track of titles they might enjoy, whether newly published or older
classics. That’s why the Library has added a service that delivers news
about books and library events directly to subscribers’ email boxes.
Newsletters range from bestseller lists to new fiction and nonfiction to
genre fiction (e.g., mystery, romance and science fiction) and more.
Newsletters devoted to children’s books and authors are also available.
Community members may sign up for as many newsletters as they want at no
charge. Most newsletters are sent monthly. To see the full list of
e-newsletters available from the Riverside Public Library and to
subscribe, visit
www.riversidelibrary.org.
Each newsletter presents
about four to six titles with a brief description of each. Subscribers can
link directly from the description of the book to the library’s SWAN
catalog where they can place a reserve on the title. So in a matter of
minutes, you can learn about a book you’d like to read
and make sure the library notifies you when it’s available.

Remember Wish Lists? As kids, we worried about filling our lists with
stuff we might actually have some hope of receiving, and stuff our friends
and family would never buy us. Well, Reference was visiting the
Amazon.com
site, and started their own Wish List. Check it out and keep these items and
us in mind for Memorials and Gifts.
Best Wishes,
Reference Department
