The Adult Services Department is located in the Great Room on the main floor of the Library. The Reference Desk is staffed by Professional Librarians and trained Reference Assistants. Call, email or talk to us at the Reference Desk when you have questions, need research guidance or computer assistance, would like to suggest materials for purchase, or would like ideas for reading. We offer book discussions, individualized computer coaching and computer classes. We will facilitate your Interlibrary Loan requests to Libraries outside the MLS system in Illinois and throughout the U.S. Contact the Reference Desk at reference@RiversideLibrary.org

Adult Summer Reading 2010

Children aren't the only ones to like to read (or listen to books on CD) in the Summertime! Last year 232 Riverside residents registered for the Library's Summer Reading Program. Seventy-eight people turned in completed reading logs. Can we exceed 232 people this year? Join your friends and neighbors to MAKE WAVES AT YOUR LIBRARY. When you register for the program you'll receive a book log. The first 40 people to read (or listen to) five books between June 1 and July 30 will be awarded a Water Your Mind sticky note cube. Your registration packet will include everything you need to get started plus a couple of freebies.
